Created by chefs and restaurateurs Lizzeth Martinez and Francisco Estrada, Santonia is rooted in the flavors, traditions, and spirit of life on both sides of the border.
Inspired by cantinas, taquerías, family kitchens, and late-night tables, Santonia brings that borderland culture to life with bold flavors, shareable plates, cold drinks, and a warm, lively atmosphere made for staying awhile.
It is the next chapter of the story that began with Naco Mexican, bringing together our roots, our travels, our family, and years of cooking for San Antonio. Along the way, our work has been recognized by the James Beard Awards, UNESCO City of Gastronomy, Netflix's Taco Chronicles, Food Network, Texas Monthly, Forbes, and more.
Santonia is a love letter to the borderlands, to the food, people, stories, and traditions that exist somewhere between Northern Mexico and South Texas.
